I deeply wish that a more joyous and blissful year replace this faithful year and hope that the world will become a more better place for us to live in (with the inability of human to tolerate with one another, it would be a miracle for it to change next year).

Anyhow,

Happy New Year Everyone

Food Trip To Kelantan

Hey everyone, how was your holiday so far? For those who are going back to school, wish you all the best in your studies. Maybe now is the time to start rushing your homeworks (for some of those I know).

I hope you guys went somewhere for the holidays, for I went to a food trip to Kelantan on Friday. The entire journey to Kelantan tooks around 9 hours ++ from KL to Tumpat. Really took alot of energy just to drive along the narrow kampung road of Pahang and Kelantan but it was really worth it as there are many delicacies for me to taste along the long journey. Started the journey at 8 and reach around 6 in the evening.

1st day:
Ate the traditional Kelantan's Nasi Kerabu. Freakishly out of this world and cannot be compared to those in other states. It comprises of a mixture of raw veges and some special sour sauce and minced fish meat. Furthermore the rice is blue in colour too and has a tinge of sour taste.
sry I forget to take the picture but it's something like the above pic.

2nd day:
You can't say that you have been to Kelantan if you never tasted the traditional Nasi Dagang. It's basically rice with whatever meat of your choice (chicken/beef/mutton/fish...etc. No pork). But don't mistaken it with the common Nasi Lemak as the taste is completely (Rephrase: Completely) different as the rice and the dishes are in complete harmony to each other. Can't really describe it in words so you would have to try it for yourself to get a grasp on that flavour.

Sry I eat till forget to take a picture of it. But it's something like above pic.

Later we went to the duty-free zone in Kelantan (Rantau Panjang and Pengkalan Kubur) for a walk. Took around 20 minutes drive from Tumpat to Rantau Panjang which is situated at the borders of Malaysia and Thailand. It's like a small town which sold various goodies at an unbelievable cheap price. Nice scenery along the way too.

Nice decorations
The entrance to the Duty-Free Zone
Thailand is just on the other side of the river bank

Went for a Thai style tomyam at night. Even though I don't prefer spicy stuff, but the Thai food course was really something to behold of. The food was spicy but taste sweet and sour as well.
Thai-Style Dinner

Went to the beach (Pantai Cahaya Bulan; quite famous beach in Kelantan) after the dinner. The sea breeze is really awesome as it's the monsoon season now in Kelantan. Feels like a natural A.C.
The wind is so strong till the trees are bending according to the wind.
My father's friends from Kelantan.

Day 3:
Went back to KL. Another 9 hours ++ drive. Nearly get into an accident when I drive as I made a careless mistake when trying to overtake a truck ahead. I can't really think of what will happen if I was hit by the oncoming car. Maybe by then the next post will be a notice of closure of this blog. Even then, still can't escape the scolding from my dad for my lack of judgement on the road. Stopped by at Bantung for a treat before returning home.
The ABC's was quite nice, really a waste if you haven't been able to taste it.
End of my journey
That's all for my food trip to Kelantan. There's still plenty more places where we did stop by to have some food but wasn't able to remember the name of those places. By the way, I did gain some weight due to the endless eating during the entire trip. Still feeling stuff now as I type this post. Finally, wanna wish you all Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, may you have a great year ahead.

P.S. Jay's movie (Treasure Hunter) is out soon in cinema. Go catch it guys.
Happy Holidays everyone,

Jolly Christmas and a Happy New Year

Hi everyone, hoping you guys are enjoying your holiday.

I had been busying this few days trying to add some snow effect to my blog in conjunction to the winter month and of cause Christmas. Even though I had never seen real snow in my life before (living near the equator sure have its up's and down's) but I hope that maybe in the distance future I can feel what's like being in a snowing environment. Thanks to animesenshi for the script.

Going to Kelantan tomorrow and I hope that I can post something about it when I return home.

Lastly, enjoy your holiday and a "Hohoho", Marry Christmas to you all and Happy New Year.

P.S. Now where's my present? I mean both of them...
Enjoy your holidays,
Hohoho, Marry Christmas...

~Mixed Feelings~

Good day everyone, I have an important announcement to make, which is .......

REJOICE

SPM & STPM FINALLY OVER!!!

Now I wanna congratulates all the exam candidates for surviving (or partially dead by now) this one month long, ridicules, mind-breaking, mouth-jawing, nerve-blasting examination period. You all have officially graduated from secondary education (SPM~ers) and Pre-U education (STPM~ers). Congratulations, seriously. Now better think of how to spent your long, bored holiday.

Today, I was really down due to the freaking hard Chemistry exam. Think maybe no hope for me to get good results already. However, I was quickly rejuvenated as I was able to spent the afternoon with my friends (Wei Han, Kwong Cheong and Tzen Hong) at TS. Even though wasn't able to catch Storm Riders 2 which was suppose to premier today, even then Ninja Assassin was a great movie also. Rain was a great actor and the movie was full of action from the beginning till the end.

Since STPM is finally over, now I can catch up on my fiction novel which I bought from the recent bookfair and maybe some long, great slumber. Okay guys, that's all for today, Ciao.

Have a great day ahead,
Signing off...
