Inauguration Day

Hey guys, how are your day today? Hope that it turn out to be as great as any other days.

Anyway, today finally is the inauguration day for both prefects and librarians for my school for the batch 2009/10. This was like the new record for the school cause I had never seen an inauguration day postponed till so late until it's near the end of October (Usually is in the month of September).

It was kinda nostalgic seeing as I was only elected as the head librarian last year on the same occasion. I can remember like it was yesterday where I was standing at the assembly ground and getting nervous as the whole school is staring coldly at me. That time I was anxious on performing my responsibilities well and getting the whole board together. Even though I had encounter mountains of problems and some hardship, I had still manage to overcome it thanks to my team of supporting AJK's and my teacher advisor, Pn. Norhanim's help. Without them, I would have surely lost my self and bring the whole librarian board to shame.

But now, seeing those scenery again makes me realize that a new generation of youth will surely create a better miracle and a more glorious future for all. I just hope that the newly elected head Prefect, Mazlan and the newly elected head Librarian, Durgga will strive hard and make SAB a better place for the sake of all students in the school. Just remember, the future and it's possibilities all lies within your hands.

I think that would be the end of my post for today, I hope that everyone will continue to strive hard in order to fulfil your own dreams for the sake of your love ones, your friends, your family and most importantly for yourself.

Thanks everyone for making my year as a head librarian meaningful.

Hope you have a great day ahead,
Signing off...

Wah, It's finally here

Wah, that day has finally came,
gonna retire as Pengerusi Pengawas Pusat Sumber tomorrow.
Can't wait till I finally relieve my burden to the younger ones,
and enjoy the taste of freedom,
Like a fish finally found a pool of water during the harsh drought,
Or like a miner finally struck gold in the cold and dark mines,
Or maybe like a writer who's finally finishes his most successful novel;
But those doesn't matter,
Cause I'm a free man tomorrow.

Don't let this incident ever happen to you

Hi guys, how are you today? Hope is a great day for you.

Anyways, I have just watch some Gintama episode and man, one of them is so hilarious that I nearly passed out due to laughter. For those who are not familiar with gintama anime, it is an animation full of comedy and it has been air at Japan ever since 2004.

Okay, the scene is like this:

and this is in the later part of the show, after the old man says that he only has sandpaper to be use as a replacement for toilet paper.

It was a part of episode 79 and I recommend you to watch the entire episode 79 if you ever wanted a laugh. This was the most hilarious episode that I had ever seen since episode 1. Too bad I can't find the link for the entire episode to be post here.

Okay that's all for today, have a great day everyone.

Random Post

Hey everyone, sorry for not updating my blog for such a long time. Kinda busy the whole week.

First off, the budget list for 2010 was tabled yesterday by our sixth Prime Minister, Dato Sri Mohd Najib at the Dewan Rakyat. In accordance to his '1Malaysia, Together We Prosper' concept, this budget was aiming at making Malaysia a high-income economy and ensuring holistic and sustainable development. Several important key factor was announced and among them are changes to income tax, proposal of Green Malaysia, and public transport. Of course, none of them matters much to me except for the education sector. In this budget, it was announced that those who get a National Higher Education Fund Corporation Loan(PTPTN) study loan will have those amount be converted to a scholarship if they graduated with a first class honours, and another great news is 30 top students will get merit-based scholarship for world-renowned uni's. For further information concerning the budget 2010, you can refer to this.

Okay, the next is for the Pre-U students whoa re taking STPM. I had found several interesting site which could give a huge help in understanding our syllabus when browsing thorough recom.org recently. Those are:

Detective Conan 13th Movie

Detective Conan Movie 13 : Raven Chaser promotional poster

Hi guys, how is your day today? Wish you all have a great day ahead.

Anyhow, for those who adores Detective Conan, a great news to all. DCTP (Detective Conan Translation Project) had just released the subbing of Detective Conan movie 13 : Raven Chaser yesterday. Those who wish to download it can visit their main site or here for megaupload links.

The trailer of Detective Conan Movie 13: Raven Chaser :

This movie is the 13th conan movie and it revolves around the BO (Black Organisation). In this movie, a serial murder case had occur where a majong piece was left in the scene of crime for all the cases and one personal item from each victim was stolen. All the police inspector from respective distinct had gather together in order to solve this murder case. In the meantime, BO has secretly infiltrated the police department in regards to this case. In addition, conan's true identity was discover by one of the BO members; codename Irish and now he has to catch the serial murderer and put a stop to the BO's activity.

I had just watch this movie yesterday and man, it was the best conan movie so far (they had 13 movie now) and was the second movie which revolves around the BO since the 5th conan movie (Countdown to Heaven). It is fully packed with action and mystery to keep the audience wanting for more even after the movie ended. It was kinda surprising at the beginning where Gin had discover conan's true identity and Vodka pulls the trigger on Ran. If you really wanna watch an anime movie which is action packed, heart-racing and full of mystery, this movie is really suitable for you.

Finally, kudos to both Tokyo Movie ( for their production of this movie) and DCTP (for subbing this movie so that we anime fans can understand this movie) for a great job. Thats all for now, thank you.

BBQ party

Hey guys, sorry for the late update, was kinda busy last week with the whole 2nd trials and stuff. Oh before I forget, I wanna wish Happy Deepavali to all my Indian friends who are celebrating this auspicious event. Dun forget my muruku ar..

Anyhow, last saturday me and my friends went to a BBQ party organised by the lower 6's in conjunction with Joey's birthday. Me, Tzen Hong, Thien Siang and our dai lou, Kwong Cheong, went to the party; too bad Chun Keat can't make it due to some sudden problem. Too bad he had to miss out all the fun and food.

It was kinda funny that on that day itself, we was suppose to meet at Steven's before going to the party. However, I was late for a few minutes and thought that Tzen Hong was late. So as I walk around while waiting for him, little did I know that they were sitting inside the car laughing at my every move ==. Not until all of them came out of the car and Kwong Cheong's frantically waiving at me before I finally notice them. Really wanna find a hole to hide as they told me that they were watching my every move. After that, we were lost and had to turn a few rounds before we finally located the right house, all of us were fooled by a misleading road sign. Man, I really wanna vandalise that road sign right now.

Anyhow, here are some of the picture I took during the party. So enjoy.
Me and my clone?

Kwong Cheong and his 'ahem'

Thien Siang and Yi Hang

2nd Trials !?

Hello everyone, about a week now since my new post.

School is getting hectic now as the Upper-Six have to undergo a second trials. I really can't think of a solid reasons as why are they doing this except for a big waste of precious money, time, workforce and resources. Furthermore, this will also facilitate the destruction of our precious brain cells and making us more vulnerable to STPM phobia.

Anyhow, just wanna share with you some of the valuable websites which I found that contains trial exam for different states. I just wanna express my gratitude to whoever had work on those sites as they unintentionally help us all and gave us a big boost in morale for the upcoming STPM exams. Thank you all.

Bleach 3rd Movie

Hi everyone, finish celebrating the full moon festival yet? and for those form 3-ers, are you ready for the upcoming PMR examinations?

For those who loves anime and adores Bleach, a great news to you all. Bleach the 3rd movie, Fade to Black, I Call Your Name was released in DVD format and this means that we can download it once the sub-group done their jobs. And on last saturday, Dattebayo has release their subbing of the 3rd movie eventhough anime-shout has done theirs days earlier. I had finish watching it today and thank God, it was as great as any other Bleach movie there is.

In this movie, Kurotsuchi (12th squard captain) had perform an experiment and was suddenly attacked by some intruder and his memory was erased. The intruder then releases large amount reiatsu which transform into snake-like monster and starting to destroy sereitei. In the meantime, Kurotsuchi has gone berserk due to his memory loss and starting to destroy his own lab and matters gone for the worse when Zaraki arrives at the scene later on. It was quite entertaining to see Zaraki went berserk in the battle with Kurotsuchi. Meanwhile, Rukia was lured and then kidnapped by the two intruder earlier on and her presence was 'erased' by them using a huge scythe. This cause everyone to loss their memory regarding Rukia including Ichigo. However, thanks to Kon, Ichigo manage to regain his memory about Rukia and went to Soul Society in order to find out what has happen there.

Ok, I hate to be a spoiler. So the rest of the story I will keep it to preserve the excitement of this movie. Those who wants a detail plot of the movie can go visit here. But in my opinion, I was kinda disappointed with this movie in the sense that Ichigo have to went through each battle with his bankai form (As I said, man what a waste of good reiatsu) and the time when he uses his hollow mask in only in the earlier part of the story. But for the entire plot, it was quite all right as we get to know more about Rukia's past life and some captain's shikai form.

Alright, I know that I can go on and on regarding this movie. So before I end it, I wanna wish the best of luck to those who are taking MUET exam tomorrow (the speaking test) and the Form 3 students who will be taking their PMR on wednesday. May God be with you always.

P.S. Hope Conan's 13th movie will get subbed faster. Anxious to watch it.

May you have a great day ahead,
Signing off...

Happy Mid-Autumn Festival (中秋节)

Hello everyone, good day to you all. Today (农历八月十五) is an auspicious day for the Chinese as Mid-Autumn Festival or commonly known as lantern festival / mooncake festival.

Actually there are many folk lore's regarding the origin of this festival. One of them is the story of Houyi and Chang-e (后羿和嫦娥). In this story, it was said that the Earth was once covered with 10 suns. The people were suffering and crops can't grow well under this extreme weather. After that, a hero named Houyi sympathise with the people and by using a bow and arrows, he shot down 9 suns and the last sun was spared to bring light to the world. He then married a beautiful wife, Chang-e and they live happily together.

In his lifetime, Houyi is said to have many apprentice who follows him to learn the art of hunting. Among them are Peng-meng, a wicked and cunning fellow.

One day, when Houyi went to visit one of his friend who lives in Kun Ming Mountain, he meet the empress of the immortals (王母娘娘)and was gifted a packet heavenly herb from her. He was told that whoever consume half of this herb will be immortal and those who consume all of it will become a god. He was delighted by this gift and ask his wife to safe keep this herb. Unfortunately Peng-meng found out about it and plan to steal the herb.

One day, when Houyi went hunting with his apprentice, Peng-meng secretly went into Houyi house and demanded that Chang-e hand over the herb to him. He even threaten to hurt Chang-e with his sword if she refuses. Chang-e, who fears for her life and her husband's, went and consume the whole packet of herb in order to prevent Peng-meng from getting it. In that instance, her body become feathery light and she rises towards the sky. Since she misses her husband, she live at the moon where she is able to meet him every night.

Houyi, devastated by the loss of his lovely wife, went and hunt for Peng-meng but he was no where to been found. Houyi became heartbroken over the loss of his wife and when he look up into the sky, he notices a shadow on the moon which resembles his dear wife.

So, he immediately ordered his servant to prepare offings of his wife favourite food and place those offerings in the yard. He then weep over the relationship between him and his wife.

Later on, this practice eventually became a part of Chinese culture and at this date every year, the Chinese will place offerings and pray to the beautiful Chang-e for her protection and blessings.

拜月仪式
For today, I and my family went to our aunt house (Kak Fatimah) for her Hari Raya open house. It was quite fun as many of my relatives turns up for this event and some of them I haven't meet for years ^^. Just came back from the open house when I type this entry for today. Too bad I forgotten to take any picture or I will upload for you all to see.

So for the Chinese readers, please remember the true meaning of this event and go home to visit your family to celebrate this meaningful event together. Maybe I will update my next entry when I have successfully gotten my hands on the 3rd Bleach Movie: Fade to Black.

Happy Mid-Autumn Festivals everyone,

Wrath of Nature

Hello everyone, hope you are having a nice day today. Just read this morning news and guess what? An earthquake and typhoon was wrecking havoc in the distance when I'm sound asleep at my warm bed.

According to the news report, It seems that a double quake struck the Sumatra's Island, near the city of Padang at about 1716 local time (1016 GMT) and 0852 local time (0152 GMT) respectively. The two quakes recorded an alarming value of 7.6 in magnitude and 6.8 in magnitude (on the Richter scale) and virtually pulverize the whole town. Death toll due to this natural disaster is still on the climb as many are still trapped among the rubble generated due to the earthquake. At Malaysia, the aftermath of the earthquake hit near George Town, Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya where high rise buildings shooks and residents flee to the open field. Eventhough my friend felt the shock, I didn't feel anything though, maybe I was too dense or was too deep in sleep to even register the shock. ==
It was also predicted that a larger quake may hit again in the near future and should it hit near the west of peninsula Malaysia, our country would not be so lucky again to escape with just a tiny shake of buildings again. According to the news report, the earthquake hit near the Sunda Megatrust where a mega quake was predicted to occur in about a decade.

On the other hand, Typhoon Ketsana that was raging in the Philippines and Vietnam is now making its way to Cambodia. Many trees are uprooted in the storm and house were toppled over in its wake. Some parts of Vietnam are still cover in flash floods and landslide covers the road everywhere. Many were injured and killed in this tragedy and the death toll is still climbing with the flow of time.

After reading those news, I'm feel sad and sympathy towards the victims of these natural disaster. However, I felt a deep stream of relieve as I'm safe and sound in Malaysia, where no treathening natural disaster occur here. Still, with so much disaster which happens recently, it makes me wonder that whether Judgement Day is near predicted long ago...

Hope you have a great day ahead,
Signing off...
